[#TOUR] MAN WITH A MISSION Returns to New York in 5 Days!

As the 'Wolfmen" of MAN WITH A MISSION recently performed at Kokuritsu Kasumigaoka Rikujō Kyogijō (National Olympic Stadium in Tokyo Japan) for Japan Night # 2 "Music of Japan" on May 29th, 2014, for a crowd of 60,000, soon after have packed their gear and heading for the United States to begin the bands North American Tour! Don't let the headgear fool you, this is one heavy rock band and put on one hell of a show in Tokyo as My JHouse ROCKS was there and the band blew us away! Not only were they professional on stage but off stage were very kind, talkative and very happy to meet us. We will meet them again, this time on our turf, New York City!

The tour kicks off at The Studio at Webster Hall on Wednesday, June 18th at 8:00 p.m. (doors open at 7:00 p.m,) and this show is a 16+ show!!! the tickets are just $12.00 which in Japan would cost you $65.00+ to see this band, so it's a steal. More on Webster Hall here.

The Studio at Webster Hall – 125 E. 11th Street (between 3rd and 4th Avenues)

MAN WITH A MISSION was here in New York City back December of 2013 packing the Highline Ballroom where the band gave a very high energy performance to the fans who were engaged from the first note singing in English and Japanese both the band and the fans who are familiar with them. Everyone in the audience had one song in mind they hoped the band would play and it was the cover of Nirvana's "Smells Like Team Spirit", which we all had heard the audio, but wanted to see it performed live and the men in the Wolf Heads delivered with a roar from the fans. Definitely the highlight of the night.

The guys also played in Los Angeles while they were stateside which was a test run for them. Now with enough interest in their music and a fan base who wants to see them they have expanded this time hitting 13  cities. After those two performances MWAM signed with Epic Records and looking toward the future desire to release a full album in the fall in the U.S. They  have released an EP, "Don’t Feel the Distance" , with Sony Music on March 4, 2014 and  EP, "When My Devil Rises", on Tuesday, June 10th. Just a guess but I would not be surprised if the EP's are sitting on the merchandise table.

If you cannot attend one of the shows you can always purchase MWAM's music on our reliable affiliate CDJapan here and if you must have music now your can find them on iTunes here:

By now I am sure you have figured out their is a theme here right! Each member of MWAM sports a wolf mask, keeping to their origin story that they were created by a mad scientist named Dr. Jimi, a genius biologist who was also a guitarist on the side. MWAM contributed to some of the most evil deeds in history, so Dr. Jimi froze them in the far edge of the world. Global climate change and pollution melted their graves and re-released them to the world in 2010, and MWAM has been entertaining sold-out crowds in Japan and worldwide ever since.

Are they human? Are they wolves? Are they evil? Come to the city and see them at Webster Hall on June 18 and decide for yourselves.
